A fortified house on the Isle of Lewis.
Brochs date back to prehistoric times, and nobody is sure who the builders were, but they were easily defensible and very secure - a lovely location too!

This mighty castle near Oban is built upon the basalt plug of an ancient volcano, not unlike Edinburgh Castle.
