I took it in situe without a light box THe only siignificant tweak was to add a little Gaussian blur I get the effect by choosing a flower that has no background clutter and a god distance from a wall etc I use a macro lens, stop it down as far as possible (the photo was taken at f32) I use a ring flash. THe low power of teh flash and the stoppong down means that the forefront is in foocus and illuminated but the background is dark! Big or small, there is something attracftive about stone circles.
